The response to COVID-19, and its resulting isolation and聽physical distancing, has created additional stressors for those of us who are caregivers.聽 Many cannot see or visit their loved ones, yet still聽have concern and聽some level of responsibility for their wellbeing.聽 The strain of the current situation depletes our reserves and impacts our health, relationships, and productivity.
Today, May 20th is Dal's 5th annual Caregiver Appreciation Day in recognition of the challenges of caregiving and the vital role that they play in our community.聽聽
A Caregiver Support Group meeting is scheduled for today,聽May 20th at 1pm.聽 Register right away聽at聽聽聽to be sent the online meeting invitation.
